United Nations : UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon reiterated on Tuesday the UN condemnation of the recent terrorist attacks to Mumbai and condolences to families of the victims.
In a phone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Ban reaffirmed the need to bring people responsible to justice, according to UN spokeswoman Michele Montas.
She added that Ban extolled the courage and resistance shown by Indian authorities and people, and conveyed his determination for the UN to play a pivotal role in facing the global terrorist threat.
At least 200 people were killed and more than 300 wounded in terrorist attacks to several places in the city of Mumbai, in western India, on November 27.
