India 37/3 at tea against England

Chennai : England’s debutant off-spinner Graeme Swann took two wickets in his first over to leave India at 37 for three at tea on the second day of their first cricket Test at M. A. Chidambaram stadium here Friday.

Gautam Gambhir (19) became Swann’s first victim in the last over before tea. Swann then removed Rahul Dravid (3) on the last ball. Earlier, opener Virender Sehwag (9) fell to pacer James Anderson.

Sachin Tendular (3) was the not out Indian batsman.

England were all out for 316 in their first innings.
