Islamabad : At least five people were killed in a roadside bomb blast in northwestern Pakistan Saturday, private Dawn News channel reported.
The incident occurred when a car was hit by a roadside bomb in Khawzakhela area of Swat district of North West Frontier Province, said the report.
Details about the incident were not immediately available.
Pakistan’s security forces have been fighting for months against militant groups in the Swat Valley, a stronghold of pro-Taliban militants.
