Kuala Lumpur : Since it opened its doors to tourists in February this year, the Islamic Civilization Theme Park in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, has attracted 1.9 million visitors. Za’abar Mohd Adib also said the river cruise package needed to be upgraded to attract more people to the park apart from continuous promotions. Launched on February 3, 2008, the theme park features 21 replica mosques including the Taj Mahal in India, the Al-Hambra in Spain, Al-Aqsa mosque in Quds, the Kaylan Tower in Uzbekistan and the Kudus Minar in Indonesia.
