Gaza : An activist in the Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fatah, was killed while two others where injured in the Israeli assault on Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
The brigades said in a statement that Ali Hijazi, 25, was heading a group of activists in Beit Lahia when the Israeli military launched their attack with two missiles.
The Israeli army launched a third attack despite the presence of medics and ambulances in the area, stated the brigades.
Eyewitnesses, meanwhile, said that Israeli recon-planes were scouting the northern part of the Gaza Strip which was witnessing unusually movement on part of the Israeli military.
Locals are anticipating an increase of Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
