Brisbane : India lost two early wickets of Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar after skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first in the tri-series opener against Australia here Sunday.
While Nathan Bracken nailed opener Sehwag, Tendulkar hit the stumps with his heel when Brett Lee was bowling his fourth over with India scoring just 26 runs.
Australia is playing with an all-pace attack with Ashley Noffke, the all-rounder making his ODI debut.
India also have a debutant in their eleven, picking batsman Manoj Tiwary ahead of Dinesh Karthik and Suresh Raina.
Australia are playing without Matthew Hayden, who is struggling with a thigh injury. James Hopes, who hasn’t opened in an ODI before, would be promoted to open the Australian innings.
