Mumbai : Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company has become the first in its category to be awarded the ISO 27001 security certification for complying with the new standards for data and information security set by the certifier.
“We are proud to be the first insurance company in India to get ISO 27001. This demonstrates our stringent security measures that secure the data and information of our customers,” Bajaj Allianz’s Ishita Mukherjee said.
The certification has been awarded to its IT systems and infrastructure set up at its Pune head office.
