Gaza : The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah movement announced on Wednesday it fired two missiles towards southern Israel.
The Brigades said in a statement that the locally-made rockets, Aqsa-3, targeted the Israeli Zikim post north of Gaza Strip.
The statement emphasized that the launch of these rockets came in response to the continuing crimes carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against “our people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip”.
Meanwhile, two armed Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday said two fighters of their groups clashed with Israeli occupation forces that left three Israeli soldiers wounded.
A joint military statement issued by the Mujahideen Brigades, close to the Fatah movement and the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, said the clash occurred Wednesday evening with a Zionist force near Al-Suraij area near Der Al-Balah city in cebntral Gaza.
“Our fighters have confirmed wounding three Israeli soldier before returning safely to their bases”, the statement said.
