New Delhi : Petrol prices will go up by Rs.2 and diesel by Re.1 from midnight Thursday.
Petroleum Minister Murli Deora told journalists that the government had decided to allow oil marketing companies to effect the price hike.
He was briefing the press after a cabinet meeting.
