Infosys to provide IT solution to US diesel engine maker

Mumbai : Indian IT major Infosys Technologies Ltd will provide IT solutions to US-based diesel engine maker Cummins Inc.

Cummins, which serves customers in more than 160 countries, has selected Infosys as the global preferred vendor for its application outsourcing and business consulting services.

Infosys was the only new company selected during this process.

B.G. Srinivas, senior vice-president and head of manufacturing at Infosys Technologies, said: “Cummins applies that rigour to selecting partners and its selection of Infosys is the latest proof point to our success in deepening our expertise and broadening our footprint in the manufacturing industry.”
