Eight Tamil Nadu policemen undergo polygraph test

Bangalore : Eight policemen were made to undergo lie-detector tests here in connection with a robbery in a Tamil Nadu police station.

The policemen had told their senior officials that they were asleep and did not know how six rifles and a walkie-talkie set went missing from their station in Adhiyamankottai in Dharmapuri district.

Unwilling to buy their version, Tamil Nadu Police brought the eight to the Forensic Science Laboratory here to undergo polygraph tests.

“The tests were completed Thursday and the results will be sent to the Tamil Nadu Police authorities,” a laboratory official said, declining to reveal the findings.
