Moscow : Russia considers necessary the negotiation process between Serbia and Kosovo province, under the auspices of the United nations, said Russian Foreign Vice Minister Alexander Yakovenko in this capital on Tuesday.
ó We don ó t see any other way out, ó held the Russian diplomat.
Yakovenko praised the results obtained in the 120 days of work of the so-called contact group (US, Russia, European Union, and United Nations) to find a solution on the issue.
“I support direct talks between Serbian and Kosovo-Albanese, a very important element, which at least represents a certain progress,” said Yakovenko.
The vice Foreign minister considered those efforts should continue, and announced that Moscow will act from that position at the UN Security Council.
