Srinagar : Two college students were killed and four others were injured in a road accident in south Kashmir’s Tral town Wednesday afternoon.
According to sources, a passenger minibus overturned and crashed into a group of students who were coming out of the Tral Degree College, 48 km from here, after taking their exams.
“Two students, Lucky Pandita and Suhail, died on the spot while four others were critically wounded,” a senior police officer told IANS.
The injured have been shifted for treatment to Srinagar hospital.
There has been an alarming increase in road accidents in the Kashmir Valley recently because of the highly slippery road conditions following snowfall and wet weather.
