Patna : A major attack was averted when police recovered – and defused – two live bombs from the Guwahati-bound North East Express at Bihar’s Katihar railway station Friday morning.
Police officials suspect the bombs may have been placed in the train by some terrorist outfits to trigger a blast.
Railway sources said the finding of the bombs had created panic amongst passengers and railway officials.
After a thorough search, the train resumed its journey.
