St. Petersburg : Seven people were killed and four injured in a fire at a factory in northwest Russia, the regional emergencies centre said Sunday.
The blaze at the Elektropult electrical factory in St. Petersburg started early Sunday after a wooden structure close to the factory’s premises caught fire.
It took an hour for the fire tenders to extinguish the blaze, the centre said.
Investigations were under way to determine the cause of the fire.
