Washington (ANTARA News) – A massive manhunt is still underway Saturday in Kentucky after a gunman killed two people and wounded another on the previous night, CNN reported.
The gunman, identified as Roy Pollard Jr., 35, fled the scene in Fleming County with a female hostage, police was quoted as saying.
A man and a woman were killed in the shooting, and another man were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Dozens of police officers, dogs and helicopters are participating in the manhunt.
Witnesses has seen Pollard fled into the woods with a rifle and a shotgun.
The motive of the gunman and his relationship with the victims were not immediately known.(*)
