Hajjah, Yemen : As many as 15 people died in Bani Qis district of Hajjah governorate recently due to the contaminated water, news agency “SABA” reported.
Field surveys of an epidemic monitoring team in the district revealed that reasons of the spread of diarrhea, resulting into this death toll was due to the contaminated drinking water.
The team recommended to re-double efforts of spreading awareness among citizens about risks of such contaminated water, urging the concerned bodies to supply citizens with safe drinking water.
