Nagpur : At least 30 people, including six children, were killed and 34 injured when a bus carrying them from Nashik to Mumbai in Maharashtra fell into a gorge, police officials said.
The bus was carrying pilgrims from the Vani Devi temple in Nashik to the state capital when it plunged into a gorge at Ganesh Ghat near Saptashringad, about 25 km from Nashik.
Police officials said the accident happened around 10 p.m. Sunday.
The 34 injured, including 17 children, have been admitted to a sub district hospital at Kalwal near Nashik.
