Afghan president calls for collective war on terror

Kabul : Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai said here Monday that terrorism is an international problem, and called for collective war against the menace.

“Terrorism is our main problem. Overcoming the menace requires collective international support,” he stressed in his remarks while opening the third session of the country’s parliament.

He also emphasized that Afghanistan would continue to fight against terrorism with all possible means.

“The government of Afghanistan will fight terrorists and those involved in killing Afghans with all force,” the president added.However, he did not name Taliban or any other militants fighting against his administration.
