Damascus : An official source at the Foreign Ministry has condemned the massacre perpetrated by Israel in Gaza, denouncing the suffocating siege imposed on it and warning against a humanitarian tragedy due to the Israeli violations of the simplest human rights norms. The source, in a statement on Monday , said hat the talk about a Palestinian-Israeli peace process is quietly contrary to giving the green light for more aggression and siege. “The Palestinian issue is currently passing through an unprecedented development in its danger and requires the Palestinians to return to all priorities of the national unity and giving it main place to all considerations and differences,” The source said. “Syria sees that the opening of crossing points and lifting the siege imposed on the Palestinian people is an Arab and international responsibility that requires an immediate action to put an end to these collective punishments and Israeli crimes.” The source concluded.
