Gaza : An armed Palestinian was killed on Thursday by the Israeli Army in Beit Hanoun, north Gaza Strip, the Israeli Army said in a statement.
An army spokesman told an Israeli radio that soldiers engaged in armed clashes with a group of Palestinian militants who attempted to fire local-made missiles on Israeli settlements near Gaza Strip.
He claimed that the attack killed one of the Palestinians, but caused no causalities on the Israeli side.
Emergency department director at the Palestinian Health Ministry Dr. Muawia Hussein meanwhile said in a press release that “The Israeli side did not inform the Palestinian liaison of a corpse to be retrieved or an injured Palestinian to be tended to.”
