Mumbai : Textiles firm Mudra Lifestyle Ltd has reported a 77 percent increase in net profit for the quarter ended Dec 31, 2007, as compared to the corresponding period in 2006.
Net profit for the quarter amounted to Rs.83.6 million compared to Rs.47.1 million during the corresponding period last year.
Following this, the board of directors has approved allotment of 3three million equity warrants to promoters at Rs.120 per equity warrant, including a premium of Rs.110 per equity warrant.
For the nine-month period ending Dec 31, 2007, the company’s total income grew by 78 percent to Rs.1.97 billion from Rs.1.10 billion in the same period last year.
The firm’s net profit grew by 100 percent to Rs.234.3 million from Rs.117 million.
