Tehran : Iran is still supporting Muslims vis-a-vis anti-Muslim methodology of the world arrogance, senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk said on Tuesday.
Abu Marzouk, deputy chairman of Hamas political bureau, has made the remarks in an interview with Tehran-based Arabic language al-Wefaq newspaper.
He appreciated Tehran’s support for the people of Palestine and their resistance movement against Israeli occupation forces.
He stressed that Israel was not interested in establishing relations with Arab and Muslim nations “but is to deceive them.” Referring to the ongoing Israeli blockade of Gaza Strip, Abu Marzouk said Muslim states should help stop Israeli aggressions on Gaza Strip and deal with the blockade which has caused humanitarian crisis.
Israeli new wave of aggressions on Gaza Strip since January 16 left at least 50 Palestinian youth dead and 80 wounded.
Doctors at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City told IRNA that all the 50 women, children and youth admitted to the hospital on January 16 have lost limbs indicating that Israel has used cluster bombs against Gazan citizens.
Human rights campaigners expressed outrage at Israeli systematic killing of Palestinians and said that the Tel Aviv regime as committed war crimes in Gaza Strip.
