Islamabad : A 14-member British Defense Ministry delegation has met Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Kayani, said an official statement.
Permanent Defence Secretary Bill Jeffrey is heading the delegation. Professional matters and the issue of cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries came under discussion.
The delegation informed Kayani about the decisions taken in the Pakistan-UK Defence Cooperation Forum (DCF) Plenary Session and said the forum was playing an important role in strengthening relations between the two countries in the military field.
