Bangkok : Thailand’s Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej claimed on Thursday that there were efforts trying to remove him from post by circulating negative rumors about him, the official Thai News Agency reported.
Samak’s remark was reported by the Thai News Agency reporters who were accompanying him on a visit in China. Samak said he heard a rumor that he would be arrested at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport after returning. But he insisted that it was just a rumor.
Samak, currently on the official visit to China, is scheduled to fly to Brunei late Thursday.
