New Delhi : Communist leader Prakash Karat Friday announced a national campaign from July 14 to explain to the people the Left’s opposition to the India-US civil nuclear deal.
The campaign would also explain the Left’s stance on the government’s failure to tackle runaway inflation, Karat told reporters after a meeting of the Left parties.
Karat’s Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and three other parties discussed the nuclear deal and the political situation.
