New Delhi : India’s Foreign Minister says the country’s military attache and a diplomat are among four Indians who have been killed in a suicide attack outside the Indian Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee says Defense Attache Brigadier R. Mehta, diplomat V. Venkat Rao and two security guards are among the 40 people who died in Monday’s suicide car bombing.
Mukherjee says an Afghan national who worked at the embassy was also killed, according to a report of the Associated Press.
He says India will be sending a high-level delegation to Kabul in the coming days.
