Islamabad : Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Monday condemned the bomb blast targeting the Indian embassy in Kabul.
“Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations as this menace negates the very essence of human values,” said the foreign minister in a statement.
Qureshi also expressed his condolences to the bereaved families.
A suicide bomber Monday morning blew up his explosives-laden vehicle outside the gate of the Indian embassy where many people were queuing to collect their visas.
At least 44 people were killed and more than 100 injured in the car bomb attack.
No group has claimed responsibility for Monday’s attack, which officials said was the deadliest in years.
