Gaza : Hamas condemned the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and said the Hebrew state was “targeting the Palestinian way of life.” A Hamas statement issued here said, “Israeli violations, incursions, and confiscations of equipment and material from medical clinics, charitable societies, sports clubs, shops, and other facilities indicate that Israel has gone to extremes to hurt the Palestinians, under the flimsiest pretext.” The statement referred to the Israeli shutdown of 10 charity organizations in Nablus and Hebron over the past two days, claiming the institutions constituted “Hamas’ infrastructure”.
Hamas criticized lack of response on this issue by President Mahmoud Abbas’ office.
“Israeli interference in our life has crossed all lines in Nablus today,” the statement stressed.
Hamas highlighted continued Israeli aggressions on the Palestinian people and their institutions which are “grave violations”.
