Damascus : During a meeting with Syrian Minister of Culture Dr. Riyadh Nasaan here on Wednesday, visiting Kuwaiti Minister of Information Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah reviewed Kuwait-Syrian cultural relations and activities of the Kuwaiti Cultural Days in commemoration of Damascus’s celebration marking it as the Arab Culture Capital for 2008.
The Syrian minister also hosted a luncheon in honor of the Kuwaiti delegation.
Nasaan is due to open the activities of the Kuwaiti Cultural Days at the Dar Al Assad Opera House theatre later on this evening.
The program would include speeches by both minister marking the occasion.
Al Sabah is due to meet Syrian Vice President for Cultural Affairs Najah al Attar on Thursday and hold talks with Prime Minister Mohammad Ottri and Information Minister Dr. Mohsen Bilal.
