New Delhi : Parliament had reached its nadir, an exasperated Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee said Tuesday as opposition MPs repeatedly disrupted Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi’s speech.
Gandhi’s speech during the debate on the trust vote was continually interrupted, finally provoking Chatterjee to say: “The parliament of India has reached the lowest position, its nadir.”
