Ghaziabad : The police arrested five men who were fleeing after allegedly assaulting a family here and recovered three pistols from their car.
According to the police, Sandeep (21), his brother Kuldeep, and three others attacked the house of an acquaintance in Loni near here.
They allegedly assaulted the family members and fired shots in the air. One of the family member, Jagvir, suffered bullet injuries, said superintendent of police Vijay Bhushan.
One of the neighbours informed the police of the attack on the family.
