Karachi : Pakistan cricket team manager Talat Ali escaped with bruises in a car accident in Lahore Wednesday.
A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesman said Talat’s car was hit by a speeding vehicle in Lahore’s posh Defence locality.
“He (Talat) suffered from minor bruises in the accident,” the spokesman told IANS. “He was taken to a hospital for check-up and doctors confirmed that his injuries were not serious.”
Talat, a former Pakistan Test wicket-keeper, has been Pakistan’s manager since the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy in India. He recently supervised a conditioning camp for the Pakistani cricketers held at a military training base at the Abbottabad hill station.
