Mumbai : A bomb was found Saturday night in a theatre near the stadium in the satellite town of Navi Mumbai that is set to host the Indian Premier League (IPL) final Sunday.
Navi Mumbai police commissioner Ramrao Wagh told IANS, “A low intensity bomb was defused in the Vishnudas Bhave Theatre during the interval of a play.”
The theatre was evacuated at around 9 p.m. and a bomb detection squad defused the bomb.
