Paris : India’s Mahesh Bhupathi and Jie Zheng of China beat Virginie Razzano of France and Rogier Wassen of the Netherlands in straight sets to enter the mixed doubles semi-finals of the French Open here Tuesday.
The Indian-Chinese pair pulled off a 6-2, 6-4 win in 52 minutes. Bhupathi and Zheng converted three of the five break points that came their way and hit 36 winners to seal the match.
India’s Leander Paes, who paired up with Nadia Petrova of the US in the mixed doubles, has already bowed out after they lost the first-round match to Bhupathi and Zheng.
