Islamabad : Pakistani Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia from June 6to 8, said a Foreign Ministry spokesman on Thursday.
This will be Gilani’s first visit to Saudi Arabia as Pakistani prime minister, said Mohammad Sadiq.
During the three-day visit, Gilani will hold talks with Saudi Arabian leaders “on all matters of common interest and in particular to further strengthen the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries,” said Sadiq.
“Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy special relations, which are rooted in common faith, mutual trust, common understanding and an abiding interest in each others’ security, stability and well being of the people,” sadiq added.
