BBC journalist killed in Afghanistan

Kabul : A BBC journalist, Afghan national Abdul Samad Rohani, who was captured by militants Thursday, was found dead Sunday near the Helmand provincial capital of Lashkar Gah in southern Afghanistan, an official said.

Another BBC journalist was shot dead in Kismayo town, some 500 km south of Somali capital Mogadishu, late Saturday night. The incident took place when Nasteh Dahir Farah was on his way home from an Internet cafe when unidentified gunmen opened fire.
