Yemen, Palestine sign protocol of trade cooperation

Sana’a : Yemen and Palestine have signed a protocol of trade cooperation between the two countries.

Under the protocol, the two sides would increase trade exchange and encourage the private sector in both countries to exchange experiences in the import and export of goods as well as discussing the possibilities of setting up joint investment projects.

The protocol was signed by Sunday Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakel and his Palestinian counterpart, Mohammed Hassouneh.

The protocol also included the proposal to organise a Palestinian permanent trade exhibition here and to form a ministerial committee co-chaired by two ministers to follow up on the implementation of the articles of the protocol.
