Madhya Pradesh transfers 28 IAS officers

Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh Wednesday transferred 28 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including 15 district collectors, officials said.

While Jabalpur Collector Sanjay Dubey has been made additional secretary in the chief minister’s secretariat, Gwalior Collector Rakesh Srivastava has been transferred as Indore collector in place of Vivek Agrawal.

Agrawal, in turn, has been made managing director of the State Warehousing Corporation, replacing K.D. Ekka, who has now been posted as commissioner-cum-director of the Bhopal gas tragedy relief and rehabilitation department.

Similarly, Hoshangabad Collector J.P. Tiwari has been posted as additional secretary in the state government. Sachin Sinha, who was officiating additional secretary in the government, has now been named collector of Hoshangabad.
