New Delhi : Chitra Narayanan, who was India’s ambassador in Turkey, will be the country’s new envoy to Switzerland, it was announced Thursday. She will be replaced by Raminder Singh Jassal, deputy chief of mission at the Indian embassy in Washington.
Narayanan is the eldest daughter of former president K.R. Narayanan.
Arun Singh, at present India’s ambassador in Israel, will move to Washington to take up Jassal’s post, the external affairs ministry announced.
Navtej Sarna, the present spokesman of the external affairs ministry, will move to Israel to replace Arun Singh.
