Shimla : More pre-monsoon showers Friday lashed various parts of Himachal Pradesh with Una town recording the highest rainfall in the state.
Una recorded 56.8 mm rains followed by Dharamsala 14.5 mm, Palampur 12 mm, Mandi 2.3 mm and Kalpa 1.2 mm in the past 24 hours.
Met office director Manmohan Singh told IANS Friday that monsoon was likely to reach the state by next week.
The minimum temperatures across the state rose by a few degrees with Shimla town recording a minimum temperature of 17.1 degrees Celsius as against 15.6 degrees Celsius recorded Thursday.
