Jaipur: Ex-chief minister of Rajasthan said it is injustice to associate any particular community with terrorism. Gahlot was addressing here the anti-terrorism conference organized by All India Qazi Board on 17th June.

Had the government been alert after Ajmer bomb blasts, the serial bombings in Jaipur would not have occurred. He said the present BJP government is incapable of acting impartially. He claimed that during the tenure of Congress government, people were calm and quiet and no mishap occurred anywhere in the state. He further said terrorists do not belong to any religion and, therefore, it is sinful to cast doubts against Muslims in context of Jaipur explosions. Intellectuals and leaders of other communities from all over the state were present in the conference.

Presiding over the conference, Sajjadah Nasheen of Dargah Ajmer Shareef Syed Ghulam Kibriya said Islam is the religion of peace and security and there is no place for terrorism in this religion. Maulana Kausar Rabbani emphasized that Muslims have also come from the same soil. Other prominent leaders addressing the conference include Sikh community leader Satwant Singh, Mahant of Buddhist monastery in Bhilwara Swami Hans Raj, Rahul Soman Chawla of Ajmer, Maulana Chaman Qadiri and Naib Grand Mufti Mufti Sher Mohammad Khan. At the end, the conference unanimously resolved to uproot terrorism.
