Khatauli (Uttar Pradesh): The political, social and literary organizations as well as distinguished Muslim religious scholars of the region have condemned Bal Thackeray.

All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM)(Salim Qasmi group) has demanded filing a case against Bal Thackeray under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), for creating communal disharmony and promoting terrorism through his editorial in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamna’.

It pointed out that government’s if and but as well as dilly-dallying in this regard will be synonymous with its cooperation in the direct encouragement for promoting terrorism and anti-social mentality in the country.

AIMMM General Secretary Maulana Ameeduzzaman Qasimi Kairanvi said Bal Thackeray has clearly incited Hindus for committing terrorism which is surely a legal offence. Besides, he has also committed the crime of fanning communal hatred and such a person should be put behind bars under the National Security Act.

Persons who condemned and demanded immediate action against Bal Thackray were the district president of the Samajwadi Party’s minority cell Haji Mohammad Kamil Siddiqui Member of the advisory council of Delhi’s Jama Masjid, Mohammad Inaam Qureshi and the media in charge of the Rashtriya Lok Dal Dr. Ashraf Ali.
