Tehran : Caretaker of Iran’s Economy and Finance Ministry Hossein Samsami has said here that Iran has filed a lawsuit against the European Union over banning Bank Melli’s operations in London and some other European cities.
Samsami also expressed Sunday hope that the measure could produce positive results.
He also noted that some plans have been made to tackle the sanctions.
The EU recently banned Iran’s largest bank, ‘Bank Melli’ from undertaking banking activities in the EU member states.
