Gaza : Kuwait’s International Al-Rahma (Mercy) Society has sent a batch of relief aid to Palestinians east of the Jabaliya camp who were subjected to an Israeli onslaught in the past five days.
Society representative Kamal Musleh told the press Tuesday that the relief operation would be among many to help Palestinians who are under the unlawfull Israeli siege.
The relief aid cost USD40,000, said Musleh, adding that the water supplies would be fixed after the Israeli army pulverized water sources during the attack.
The area had been under Israeli attack since last Friday evening with the attacks resulting in the death of 130 Palestinians and the injury of about 400 others.
The International Al-Rahma Society has been active since 1982 in 28 countries.
