Geneva : Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here Wednesday stressed the need to expand Iran-India relations in view of their extensive capacities for the purpose.
Mottaki made the call in a meeting with Indian Minister of State for External Affairs H.E. Ahamad which was also attended by the UN Geneva Office Director General Sergei Ordzhonikidze.
Mottaki is here to attend the UN Human Rights Commission session and the Disarmament Conference.
The Iranian minister and the Indian official also discussed latest developments in the region, including Lebanon, Afghanistan and Iran.
