Bangalore : Indian IT bellwether Wipro Ltd is showcasing its integrated solution for network inventory management at TeleManagement World trade show being held in Dubai this week, the company said here Wednesday.
TeleManagament (TM) Forum is the world’s leading trade association focused on the world of communications, information and entertainment services.
As leading software service provider in the Middle East, Wipro has delivered the Oracle-based integrated network solution and e-business suite solution to service providers and network operations in the region.
“The solution integrates network inventory and management data with financial systems, enabling operators to unify management and tracking of network asset deployment and utilisation with supply chain management (SCM),” the company said in a statement.
The solution also offers end-to-end visibility to help operators increase asset utilisation and time-to-revenue for faster network and asset deployment.
“The solution is designed to help service providers and operators unify network and asset lifecycle management across network operations, planning and finance to help improve operating costs and efficiencies for accelerated business,” Wipro Technologies vice-president Vijay Kumar said.
The end-to-end integrated solution will enable low-cost network operations, maximise infrastructure utilisation and improve data accuracy and automation across the entire enterprise.
“Wipro’s integrated solution of our inventory and ERP (enterprise resource planning) products validates our leadership and addresses service providers’ need, as operators look to streamline their business and improve operational control,” Oracle Communications vice-president David Sharpley added.
