Kabul : Three people, including two children and an aged man, were killed as a roadside bomb struck a civilian car in Afghanistan’s troubled Helmand province on Saturday.
A statement from the Interior Ministry here said a third child sustained injuries in the balst in Nad Ali district of the restive province, known for its bumper poppy crop and insurgency.
The statement said the bomb was planted by “enemies of the country,” the term Afghan officials use for the anti-government Taliban.
The militants, so far, did not issue any comment.
