New Delhi : Deepa Jain, Secretary of the National Commission for Minorities, in the minority affairs ministry, was Tuesday appointed to the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare in the defence ministry.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) named Sumantra Chaudhuri, also an Indian Administrative Service (IAS), to replace Jain as Secretary of the National Commission for Minorities, a press communiqué stated.
