Bhubaneswar : The Orissa police have arrested an alleged drug peddler from the temple city of Puri.
Police nabbed 62-year-old Shyam Palai Wednesday evening, when he was allegedly selling brown sugar to some people near Jagannath Temple, a district police official told IANS.
Palai, a resident of Puri, some 56 km from, has reportedly confessed that he was involved in drug peddling for the past four years.
He also told the police that he has been arrested several times in the past for the crime.
